Default How much could I sell this Dell Inspiron 9300 for?? Hoping to know today!

Dell Inspiron 9300
Purchased August 2005
17" non-glossy 1920x1200 screen
Pentium M 2Ghz
2GB RAM
Nvidia 6800 "GO" 256MB graphics card
Wireless g/b/whatever its called
6USB, Firewire, Ethernet, Modem, Optical, External Monitor Output, digital camera memory card reader, slot with the push in thing and the plastic card comes out...

If I remember correctly, This listed for like $4000 2 years ago... got it on Ebay brand new for about $2500...

I'm thinking if I can get least $1000 for it, I could break even and get a 17" Vostro with better specs tomorrow to replace it while Dell has a sale going on...

THat was some good specs for its time I think you might get little less then $1000 because all those specs can be bought today for $700 new. I think the graphics card is the only selling point.

Take whatever an equivalent system today would cost (like your $1000 figure) and cut it at least 30-40% for an older used system.

Your best bet is craigslist if there is one in your area. I think you'll get around $500-600. You have an Inspiron two generations old and you want to get the same price you can buy a new one for?

You said it yourself...if people can get a brand new vostro 1700 with better specs for $1000, why would they buy yours at that price? I agree with the other posts that you'll maybe get $600 for it tops.

yeah when ppl buy used computer older than 1 yr old they're expecting computer cost at around 700$ or so because if it's like 800 or 900$ ppl would prefer to buy new from retail store. Try craiglist if u can find some noobs willing to pay 800$.

I paid $650 for the one I'm using now. The 6800 was the selling point.
