Default Feeler: My Toshiba Gaming Notebook for Your MacBook Pro

Hey everybody,

I have a Toshiba P100-ST9012 with a little over 2 years left on the extended warranty.

Specs:
Intel Core Duo T2400 (1.83 GHz), upgradeable to any Socket M Core 2 Duo
2GB DDR2 Memory (667 MHz)
160GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
nVidia GeForce Go 7900GTX (512 MB GDDR3)
Windows Vista Ultimate (x86 or x64 installed for you)
HP Digital/Analog Expresscard TV Tuner (works for OTA HD channels, cable, or satellite, used with Windows Media Center)
17" Display (1440x900 resolution)
Fingerprint Reader

I'm considering the possibility of trading this machine for a 15" or 17" newer MacBook Pro. Hit me up with any offers. I don't use this laptop to the max as far as gaming goes, but I have tested it out, and can get really good framerates on Bioshock (with settings at full) and I can test it with the Crysis demo later. I also have a license for Windows XP Professional if that is your preference.

My eBay feedback page: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...erid=niceguy56

Thanks,
Dan

Post updated with pictures. Sorry the pictures are a bit crappy...I took them on my cell.

I'm not sure why the only two posters are bashing this notebook. The 7900GTX is still one of the best GPUs to have in a notebook (in fact, I paid a little under $500 more when I bought the notebook for this higher end card):

In addition, I paid over $2500 for this notebook less than a year ago (including the extended warranty), and have since upgraded the RAM and hard drive. The main reason I'm listing this as a trade is that I figured someone may have purchased a MacBook, realized it's not much in the area of gaming, and wanted to trade. In the mean time, I'm a student and don't use the full gaming capacity of this notebook.

Either way, I don't really care whether or not someone wants to trade. I plan on eventually purchasing a MBP either way and just figured I could get there sooner with a trade, but no big deal. This machine is still killer, and I'd be more than happy with it for a few years.

Doesn't matter, it's not worth $2000 or more... Sell it for around $1500 or under and people will buy...
