I didn't take the test. My gf did though and she's in med school right now. I'm going the dental route

. Her dental roommate's curriculum is just as intense if not more intense than the medical curriculum.

Just an FYI, physics is probably the most important premed class there is. Maybe that and inorganic chem. Concepts from these two courses come up again and again and again.

Organic, as you suspected, is pretty worthless.

Na, I don't think pchem is that necessary -- it goes a little too far into detail. Just know your physics really well, especially fluid mechanics. A physio course would be super as well if you have not already taken one.

I only took the bare minimum premed courses and I think they're enough. Some background in physio coming into school would make life much easier in second year.

Why do docs even need tests?

A nurse/pharmacist could just perform tests and look it up..
