whats the condition of the laptop? how much use does it have? hows the palmrest and keyboard? (for fading) if it's in better then decent shape then you could probably get one more or less around $1,700.

i don't know haven't seen it yet but he said is new still in box and is asking 1300 which is kind of low i was having some doubts thinking i might get duped on the deal.
i paid more for my laptop than he is asking for it so i think it might be some scam

That's far too low for something still in a box. You would usually pay 2500+ for a new M1710 with these specs. I wouldn't buy it.

after doing a tiny but of research, it looks like those laptops are going for closer to $2,000 (perfect used condition)...1300 sounds VERY low considering the 7950GTX+4GB RAM+T7400 Processor -- i would closely inspect this laptop to make sure it was in working order; this guy is an idiot if he's trying to sleep his machine for $1,300 - either that, or he's a scam artist.

I just saw the posting. The laptop has 3 years of warranty.
At $1300, this means 100% SCAM
