Default Sony VAIO CR Series Laptop 14.1" - New, unopened, C2D, T7300, 2GB

Long story short - A friend of mine picked up a laptop for me this past week from Best Buy (it was on a nice sale). After he shipped it to me, my wife flipped out. She says that my current Gateway is good enough and we need to be saving money up for the holidays and student loans. I'm trying to break even after paying the cost, shipping, NY state tax, paypal fees to get him the money, and some cash I paid him for the favor. As such, I am looking for $1250 PLUS Shipping. I can take credit card payments via paypal, but will gladly offer a $50 off if paying by check or money order (it's less of a hassle and safer IMO).

Just for the record, this laptop did cost $1000 on sale last week, and lists a $1250 price on bestbuy's website. Because of the sale, it's out of stock at virtually every store in the country as of saturday, and could be all gone by now. From what I could tell when I spoke with a couple stores trying to track one down for myself, this was a limited time purchase from Bestbuy just for the sale. The same model can be found on Amazon now for $1350, so either way, my price is still a deal IMO, just not what it once was.

My preferred form of shipping is FEDEX Home Delivery with Insurance ($20-$25 to most places in the US I believe).

Below is a CUT and PASTE of the laptop description

Please read and follow the B/S/T rules. Yes, rule 4 still applies, even if it is an unopened box.

Yo, you might want to watch rule 12 on this?
12) You cannot include such things as +3% to cover Paypal fees...this is against the Paypal TAC.

I updated the listing to comply with that rule too. The listing now says:

Far from an expert on these sorts of things, but I'd wager it would run decently.

I hate what people say about laptop video cards and games. If you ask almost any laptop enthusiast, they will always say that any video card other than the current top of the line (or 1 notch from top) is absolute trash and that you couldn't even get pong to run.

Seriously, if you are willing to run low settings, most 3D games can be played with this, so the question is more of how smooth or sharp do you want graphics to be. Maybe it's just me, but if you are looking to game on a 14.1" laptop, I bet you are only going to game very casually (sure there are exceptions) and it shouldn't be a big deal.

Still for sale. I can shave $25 off the price, but that's all.
