Default FOR SALE DELL 1100

It was purchased 02-23-04

Intel Celeron 2.4ghz
256 mb memory(1 DIMM)
40gig HDD
24X CD-RW/DVD drive
96 WHr Lithium Ion 12-Cell battery(highest upgrade dell offers)
14.1 XGA screen
56k modem internal
NIC card modem internal
Windows XP home
Microsoft money-word perfect-encarta etc.
2 year at home serivce warranty
2 year limited extended(after) warranty

This is pretty much the same laptop as the 1150 dell is selling now, only real difference is the name and the 1150 has the option of a different size screen (15 inch)

Nothing wrong, it comes with all included software from dell, and like I said its only about 2 months old, the warranty is still valid, and will be for 3-4 more years.

Computer is great for just about everything, except high intesity games,(which is the reason I am looking to upgrade)

I paid $795 which is about what they are selling for now

im asking $550 or best offer

if you have any questions my email is pont92firebird@aol.com

also Im not sure the best way to safetly sell this item other then ebay, so if anyone is interested I am willing to post this on ebay in a closed auction type setting, the buyer can pay by paypal which will give you protection agaist the seller(me) and I will be protected by paypal guarranting me the money.

like I said this is a great laptop for just about everyone and has been lightly used.

thanks again
-Craig

Hi Jebus,
Your notebook sounds like a great deal for someone.
I just wanted to let you know that paypal does not guarantee you anything. If someone pulls a scam on you, it will be you that is out the money not paypal. I'm an amature photographer and although I've not had any problems with paypal no one has tried to scam me either. The photography forum I follow has had many horror stories of fellow photogs who sell their $1500 digital cameras using paypal for payment and even after they follow all of paypals rules for seller protection ie using verified accounts, paypal has come back on them 2 months later saying the creditcard was stolen afterall..even after they told the seller everything checked out ok with the creditcard. What paypal then did to the seller was to reverse the charges on the creditcard and take the money back out of their paypal account. If their was no money in the account they charged their creditcard or withdrew the funds from their savings or checking account. This is not a one time story, it has happened 3 times that I know of in just particular forum. Here is a link to read more about paypal practices.

I just wanted you to be informed that paypal is not as safe as you make think. If possible, sell your notebook locally and request cash payment.

good luck in your sale.
Jack
