not to lowball or flame..but lol sir. gl with this....also, while your anxiously awaiting posts on this thread, i'd suggest for you to customize a new dell vostro, or even inspiron with the same screen size your rig has -- you will see that you are able to buy a NEW c2d + 2gb + atleast 100GB HDD for under $1,000 - again, not to lowball or flame this post, but i'd strongly suggest "re-thinking" your price if you expect any feedback. Please remember, your pitching to a tough crowd here on NBR - if your looking to get rid of it at the price your asking, i'd suggest E-Bay. Good luck sir.

1st of all, I cant even believe some one can write such things, but just to clear things, each laptop has its own value, Dell is like walmart of laptops, Asus is in a different league, they are competing Sony TX series.
I had paid $2,209 for this just less than 6 months ago, and currently its going for $1800+ for Brand New, mine is in excellent shape, and has Full Manf. warranty and on top I had purchased 2 year accidental coverage, a nd it is fully transferable to new owner.
So $1,395 is a reasonable price.

Man, Dell doens't even make anything in such size, and smallest they got is D430, and that one doesn't even have DVD Built in, and it starts at $1250 with basic stuff and goes quite up...

So, I would suggest, please compare apples to apples, not to oranges.

uh? i appologize for my honest opinion. take it from someone who just sold a barely 1 year old Compal HEL80 15.4WUXGA+/2gb/2.16cd, 100GB,go7600 for $700.00!!!! last time i checked Compal wasn't classified under the "wall-mart" laptop tab either.....not to mention i nievely starting the price at a $1500!!! in which case, i had to do as you did which is re-post my listings on NBR multiple times just so people would read it. if you guys still think im "ridiculous" then the only thing i can say is PROVE ME WRONG and sell it firm of your price.

EDIT: Oh yah, ALSO not to mention that my HEL80 came with an additional 9-cell battery, carrying case, and an active TWO year full warranty from PowerNotebooks.com. Don't believe me?

Chant: Please don't threadcrap. He can sell it for anything he wants, if the price is high, then no one will buy it, simple as that. And jeez, comparing two different things, the HEL80 is a 15.4" gaming notebook, this is an ultraportable. They are made for different usages, comparing it is like comparing a Riced up Impreza to an Audi R8. They are from different classes, built differently for different consumers with different aspects in mind for the buyer. I guess you can't read neither, nowhere did they classify Compal as a 'Wal-Mart' laptop, it was Dell.

That would be your mistake.

11.1" notebooks are higher in demand and sustain their value better than other sized notebooks.

Just because somebody decides to sell their 2 week old M1330 for $500 doesn't mean that's what it's worth. Who's to say that you wouldn't have gotten your asking price if you waited?
