Default Clevo M57U-A Core 2 Duo, 2 gigs 667, 7800GTX, 1450 (US) plus shipping

This is a great gaming laptop. I just played the Bioshock demo maxed out 1400 by 900 getting 25 to 45 FPS! This is a great alternative to the XPS's becuase it is capable of 7.1 surround sound. It has great speakers too, 2 speakers plus a subwoofer. They are very loud, great for watching movies on vacation. It has tons of ports, just about everything. (even a serial) I'm selling so i can combine the money from my birthday so i can get a laptop with a 7950 or 8700GT. The whole thing is in near perfect condition, bearly a scratch. I accept paypal only from a verified account, unless your willing to mail me the money.
I dont have any feedback becuse i always do local deals through craigs list, but i thought i might try selling it on this forum too. I am in the seattle area and would love to meet you instead of shipping if possible, but i can ship too. US only please.
here are the specs:

Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66, 2mb cache
2 gigs 667 RAM
Geforce go 7800GTX 256 ( )
80 gig 5400 RPM drive
DVD ROM/R/RW CD RW
Wifi and bluetooth
17 inch 1400 by 900 screen, glossy and very bright.

Comes with XP pro or XP pro x64 (64 bit), the manual, and a case (if you want to pay for the shipping of the case)

Make me an offer!

That is a great computer. I've been looking around for a used Clevo/Sager M57/5720/5760. So I would be lying if I said I didn't want this laptop. However, I'd also be lying if I said I have enough money to pay for what it's worth.

this notebook can get the 7950GTX... so you can still upgrade it if you want... although it'll cost about $500 for the videocard

this is still a great notebook.

the 7800GTX is still more powerful than most of the GPU's out there... even the 8600M GT's.

the 7950GTX is about 25-35% faster than the 7800GTX... not sure if that worth it (I have been contemplating this upgrade for myself as well)

I dont think its worth 500 bucks unless you aren't planning on upgrading for more the three years. I own that go 7800 gtx and a desktop 7950GT (which performs almost exactly the same as the go 7950GTX). The only game i have found there to be a significant difference in settings is oblivion. rainbow six vegas actually worked better on my laptop! (i dont know why, it might be the ddr instead of ddr2 in the lappy) but that really shows the power of the card. In other games the FPS is a tad lower on the go, but hasn't prompted me to lower the settings. The 7800 is a pretty solid card, mostly due to the fact that its the same basic design, 24 pixle processors, 8 vertex 256 bit ect, beyond that its just clocking.

Interesting...

Anyway, Tangent, I just wanted to let you know that you possibly made a minor typo. The drive is actually 5400 RPM, unless you upgraded it.

But anyway, this is a good notebook, very fast and stylish, and I have reason to suspect that this particular notebook is in extremely good condition (Quite possibly near new).
Plus, as far as Tangent's lack of feedback goes, I'd just like to add that I recently made a transaction with Tangent and everything went extremely smoothly.
