I understand that you would like my name in the picture, give me an hour or two, and I will do so; I didn't realize it was required until after I took these pictures.

I purchased this computer at the end of June 2007 and it is in excellent condition as I take very good care of it. It is a great gaming laptop; the nvidia 7900 GS does very well playing: it can play Counter-Strike Source with frames per second averaging 90 and in the recent Bioshock demo, it averages 35-40 with settings maxed out at 800x600 resolution. I plan to transfer the warranty upon purchase (This is possible through Dell http://support.dell.com/support/topi...n&s=gen&~ck=bt) I am selling this because I have decided to invest the money in a better one, but I need to get the majority of it's cost back before I do so. Before taxes this laptop cost $1895.01 so I would like to sell it for as close to $1700 as possible, if not more. To be honest, I've never sold a laptop before so I'm unsure of how much to sell it for, but I figured a 10% discount is okay considering it is only 2 months old. Additionally, if anyone is interested in purchasing Microsoft Word 2007 Basic, I have a brand new copy of it I would sell for $140; I ended up being able to get a free version of it through my college and I'm trying to reimburse the money I spent for it.

Yes, it can get quite hot if left on for several hours (8-9 hours)
# How loud is the cooling?
The cooling is not loud at all, while playing games I will often not even notice it.
# Do all the plugs work?
Yes, they do.
# Is the operating system included?
Yes, Windows Vista Ultimate 32Bit is included
# Repair history?
No repairs have been made.

Preferred payment would be PayPal.
As for eBay/Heatware feedback, I do not have any, which I understand is going to deter many, I just have never sold anything online before.

Just a final note: Before I sell this, I have to pass it by my parents, so if they do not feel I would be selling it for a high enough price, I may not be able to sell it. However, I will not accept any payments until then, and if it turns out I cannot sell it, I will pull this from the website. At the very least, I would like to know if this is a fair proposition to sell it for $1700. If you do not feel it is, please give a little explanation and a suggested price. If you feel I have left anything out feel free to post it and I will update the information. You can reach me by e-mail at czorn16@hotmail.com. Thank you.

Please post the methods of payment you'd accept as well as any eBay/heatware feedback. Also, I would look through the B/S/T rules in case you've forgetten something.

A bit of friendly advice: 10% discount is probably not going to be enough to move the computer.

I'll edit the post. I thought 10% would be alright considering it is only 60 days old...

That is fairly new for a PC, yes, but you also must consider there are brand new gaming laptops out there going for less than that, and most people who are in the market for a new gaming laptop would prefer to buy new.

For example, your same laptop, with a better processor than yours (T7200), a 7200 rpm HD , and a UXGA screen, went for $1298 on ebay, item 180150749169

Right, but it was Vista Home Premium and the One year warranty. Mine is Vista Ultimate and 3 years of warranty including accidental damage. Ultimate is retailed at $260 and the warranties were approx. $350 (~$610 total). Home Premium is retailed at $160. Hopefully this is justification enough for why I'm asking $402 more than what that laptop went for, perhaps less depending on the offers.

The bottom fell out of e1705/9400 pricing some time ago on this forum. People have moved on. It's hard to get more than 1100 for one, even if it is nearly brand new.

I had a nice one and I had to move to craigslist to sell it.

Meh, to be totally honest, those add ons make little difference in the used market, the warranty may help you to get say, $75-$100 more, and most people dont care what version of OS comes with it as long as it has one.

Last month Dell had that great deal on E1705's when we could use those stackable coupons. They had the laptop available for $610 shipped w/ a 9-cell battery, T5300 (better than your T2350), 120GB HDD, Vista Premium, and X1400, 1GB DDR2, and DVD Burner. For $200 you can upgrade the video card and DDR2 yourself (to 7900GS and 2GB), and another $150-$200 for the warranty if you talk to a Dell rep yourself (they offer better deals over the phone).
