Default Fujitsu S6231 w/ DVD-RW - For Sale

I'm selling my recently purchased Fujitsu S6231 (B version with CD-RW/DVD-RW MultiDrive) for USD $1750 or best offer. This includes free accessories, like a Shinza laptop case (grey) (see Shinza.com). The extra modular battery will be extra.

This superb laptop was bought on March 13, 2005; it still has 11-months remaining on it's warranty. It has been gently and occasionally used, and is in perfect condition. I must sell it for several key reasons (like the fact I'm unemployed and had bought this laptop on credit).

Specifications are:

  • Intel Centrino 1.7ghz Mobile Processor (2MB L2 cache, 400MHZ FSB, Dothan core)

  • 13.3" XGA TFT Crystal View Display capable of a max. 1024x768 resolution

  • 60GB hard drive (4200 rpm)

  • 512 MB RAM

  • Modular Super-Multi DVD drive (4x DVD-R, 2x DVD-RW, 24x DVD+R, 2.4x

  • DVD+RW, 2x DVD-RAM, 8x DVD read, 16x CD-R, 4x CD-RW)

  • Integrated Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG (802.11b/g)

  • 11.5"(w) x 9.3"(d) x 1.28"(h) (max)

  • Windows XP Home Edition

  • Weight: 4.07lbs with DVD/CD-RW drive, 3.63 lbs with weight saver

(Note: If I'm missing anything, please ask, and I can check. I'm a complete non-techie, so please bear with me.)

This is an AWESOME LAPTOP! I read many reviews on it, including the one here:
http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=2194&review=Fujitsu+S6231

I am convinced it is one of the best all-around laptops, with very high-quality construction. However, the sad fact is I really can't afford it, and the interest on the credit card will do me in.

I promise nothing bad has happened to this computer. I handle it carefully; it's never been dropped or banged about. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Also note that although I am in Canada, I'd be happy to ship to the U.S. Please see my Ebay feedback, profile ID is green-speed.

Thanks.

Sorry tikilla, that price is a bit too low. But thank you for the offer.

Note to everyone: I'm lowering the price to $1750 (USD) without the extra modular battery.

Also, this excellent laptop really is LIKE NEW! I haven't even typed a document with it. I've basically used the laptop as a portable hard-drive to store and transfer files - so there's been no extended use. I simply take it out, copy photos onto the drive, and promptly turn it off. It hasn't even been used for internet or anything.

I have a desktop computer that I use for all my computing needs. I was expecting to use the laptop more, but it hasn't happened yet.

Is it the same specs? if it is where did you get it? I can't find a price below $1500.

Nice laptop, by the way. The screen is simply amazing.

I'd like a Canadian quote for the battery though. And bump for a great laptop!

Answer to your question above:

Yes, the same specification, I've searched online before I bought one, In fact I purchased one in the store in my area and tried it for few days, I paid $1450 but when I found a site, www.shipdog.com that sells it for $1,293 + $20 shipping and handling I returned the notebook at the store and purchased from shipdog.com. I received it yesterday and it works just like the one I returned in the store.
