I wouldn't expect more than 1000 dollar since it is used and all. But who knows?

Try configuring the same option on HP.com and see what you get. Since your computer has Merom Core 2 Duo which is older than Santa Rosa, you won't be able to sell it for much. The graphic card on the new dv6500t is also superior to the one you have and the wireless card as well. Though some of them are minor, most people want to buy recent stuff for cheap. But don't lose hope, dv6000t is a great laptop and I'm sure the demands for it are still pretty decent. I would say around 900-1000.

Now's not the greatest time to sell. Laptops are flooding the market, as people anticipate a summer/fall upgrade.

Right now, I doubt you can get $800 for it.

Really? I would think it would go for at least $1000. I configured it to the best I could on Hp's website (they have changed things since I ordered) and it came up to be around $1550. When is a better time to sell if this isn't? I would think that the back to school season would be the best...?
