Default decent deal?

Looking at a Thinkpad T60p from a local craigslist post (pasted below). Does this seem like a fair deal for $900?

Intel® Centrino™ Duo processor (1.66GHz) with Windows XP Professional
14.1 SXGA+ TFT---Very good--high resolution.
ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 64MB

1 GB PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM)

40GB Hard Disk Drive, 5400rpm
8x DVD Rom Ultra Slim
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (US/CAN/LA/AP)
6 cell Li-Ion Battery

3 Yr. on-site Warranty

Thanks,
Dave

I didn't think T60p came with that videocard. I thought they only came with FireGls. Maybe a T60.

the seller claims the type no. is 2008-CTO, which comes up on lenovo's site as a T60p

I see that Lenovo had a clearance on the 2008-WRV which was based on the 2008-CTO (but getter specs than that one). I'm surprised they can call it a p without the firegl, I thought that was one of it's defining features. The waranty is the only thing that makes it an ok deal but given the specs, nothing I would be excited about. Prices have seemed to really tumbled on core duo laptops and even on core 2 duo as Santa Rosa has evolved.

Well, considering you can get a new T61 with better specifications (except on-site warranty, I'm pricing only 3 yr return to depot) for around $1000 or $1100, it's not a great deal...

No, its not a very good price. Find a deal and order one online, and you will save $.
