price check
Sony VAIO SZ480, C2D T7200, 13.3", hybrid graphics, LED backlight. Paid $1880.
The current laptop I have I really like, but I have to send it back for repairs that will take 4-6 weeks and I could not go that long without one. I was planning on selling it once I got it back but I do not know now. Just wondering what the street price on the vaio is.

Re: price check
Depends on condition, exact specs and age (any warranty?). But you could estimate about $1200, probably no more.

Re: price check
A good measure of what you might get is the average eBay selling price +/- 10% depending on its condition. But yes, I'd probably say $1200, maybe more if you have a good warranty left.

Re: price check
You are likely to get less on eBay (considering the price you pay for relisting because of all of the scammers.)

Re: price check
Well as soon as you open that box a computer/laptop like a car i spose loses quite a bit of value.

Re: price check
I got lucky. UPS for some reason opened the package at the facility and NE is giving me a full refund. I'm glad, too, because the notebook is a lot slower than the A8Js, probably because of Vista (which I hate)

Re: price check
In case anyone reads this who is considering an SZ series notebook, don't do it unless you can find a good deal. It's not worth the $1900 most places are charging. I would pay *maybe* $1300
