Default IBM Buyback Program

Hello Guys,

IBM has a buyback program through we can sell our older laptops. I have a 2003 Compaq Presario 2581US and would like to dispose it (I am out of warranty and it will cost a fortune to fix all the bugs). Are the IBM buyback prices good enough? Do you guys have any personal experience with this program? Thanks.

I am choosing IBM since they do not require you to purchase a new system in exchange. Sony and HP also has these programs but we need to purchase a new system to trade-in our old system. That is why I am tempted to go with IBM. Are there any other programs that might offer a better price for the laptop? IBM is offereing $250 for my Compaq Presario (Mobile P4 2.3GHZ, 512 MB RAM, 30 GB)

IBM is offering $250 for a Presario 2500? Take the money and run! That sounds about right, I sold my Presario 2538cl to a friend for $250 several months ago.
