Default Looking to Buy around $2000: Preferrably Gateway NX860XL

Hi , i am looking to buy a notebook with this specifications :

Hard disk: 80 gb + (preferrably 7200 rpm)
RAM: 1 gb ram + DDR2 667mhz ( preferably 2GB )
CPU: Intel core duo 2, 2.0 ghz + T7200 +
graphics card : At least Geforce Go 7600 /ATI radeon x1600
monitor : 15 " or 17 " ultrabright/truebrite/xbrite depending on the manufacturer

Bluetooth: included

i would also need some positive feedback on the seller or some proof of previous successful sales.

p.s: Any help will be greatly appreciated. Keep in mind that i live in Cyprus and that's the main reason i can't order gateway nx860xl from their official site.

Please post how you will pay for someone to purchase this notebook for you or how you will pay a potential seller with a notebook you want.

Also, please post any eBay or Heat feedback that you have.

i will pay through paypal account or any electronic form of transaction that is secure. Unfortunately i don't have any e-bay or heat feedback as i haven't used them yet. I have ordered only books and dvds from amazon.uk as internet transactions.

if you look at the official gateway site , the price is $1650 and i am willing to pay with shipping price up to $2250 . That's $600 difference, if your shopping costs are about $ 100 -150 (i have no idea how much it will cost to send it to cyprus) it leaves you with $450 clear profit and a great bargain for me. For the same price in cyprus you get a much much worse laptop and that's the reason for my offer.

Question...why Gateway? Those specs will nab you a Compal or Asus for around $1500. (My Asus S96J has all those specs for around $1500.) Sure they're lesser known brands, but they actually make A LOT of the notebooks for the more commonly known companies. I'm sure you'd be able to find an Asus reseller somewhere near you...or...at least somewhere in Europe (rather than shipping for NA).

can you not purchase from dell (9400) or hp (nx9420 or nc8430)? as mentioned, there are a few resellers that may be willing to ship out of the country for some models....i would check out powernotebooks.com, milestonepc.com, or proportable.com to name a few that might have models that you are interested in.

also, zepto.com sells notebooks with the 7600go....they ship all over europe. though they have been known for subpar support.....atleast you will have some. if you order internationally, there is a very good chance that you will have no warranty or customer support should anything go wrong.
