Condition: I purchased the V1Jp two weeks ago, and I’ve only used it about five or six times altogether, so it’s still in excellent condition; in the short time that it has been in my possession, I’ve made certain to take very good care of it.
I want to note that during the unpackaging and rummaging process, I did throw away a
few of the various small plastic wrappings and those little black ties that were wrapped around some items.
Notebook Sleeve:
It’s a black 15-inch widescreen sleeve made of “highly resistant polyurethane”, so it can absorb the shock of a fall, protecting the notebook screen. It has a small pocket on the outside that can hold writing utensils and similar items of that size.
Condition: Excellent condition. I put the Asus V1Jp inside of it and then kept it in a huge drawer out of sight, so it’s still like brand new.
iPod Video:
It’s a black 30 gigabyte iPod with the ability to play video clips, podcasts, audiobooks, and hold photos. It can hold up to 7,500 songs according to
Apple’s website.
Condition: I’ve had this since about August of last year, so the back of it has a scratch here and there and small specks, but the front of the iPod looks great; I still kept the plastic adhesive cover over it. The entire iPod is in a Darth Vader case, so overall it’s still in very solid physical condition and certainly in great working condition. USB cable and headphones included, of course.
iMuffs:
They are wireless headphones for the iPod video (I believe they also work for the iPod Nano). You essentially insert a small Bluetooth device into the bottom of the iPod and turn on the headphones to play music wirelessly. I recall that the seller claimed that they have the capability to work with your Bluetooth-enabled phone, but I’ve never tried this function, so I don’t know if it works or how reliable it is. Charger included, of course.
Condition: They’re in great physical and working condition.
Reasons for Selling the Notebook: I’m a college student, and because of this I need a laptop that’s very portable and compact to take to various places – lectures halls, the library, and otherwise. I thought the V1Jp would fit my needs in this category, but it’s a little bigger than those small lecture desks will allow, and specifically for my needs and desires it’s slightly cumbersome for travel, so I’ve decided to sell it since I don’t really use it. I plan to use the funds gained from this transaction to purchase a
MacBook Black to replace the Asus.
Reasons for Selling the iPod Video/iMuffs: I received a second generation iPod Shuffle this past Christmas, and I prefer it to my old iPod video; I rarely took advantage of its video capabilities, and I also don’t nearly listen to as much music as it’s capable of storing.
Quite honestly, wearing the iMuffs in public seem a little odd, and I always preferred the white earbuds that come standard with the iPod models, but I purchased them out of whim which I now realize was a bad decision. I’ve also found that sometimes the music will skip a little when the iPod was in my pocket and I was walking, so that’s an annoyance whenever it happens.
Price and Payment Methods: As mentioned at the beginning of this post, I’m selling everything for
$1,750 shipped (American currency). I feel the price of $1,750 for everything is reasonable considering that the Asus V1Jp alone cost me $2,000; the case, 3-year global warranty, and extra stick of RAM was a $300, and the iPod video and iMuffs were about $350 in total.
The only payment methods I accept are
PayPal and
Money Order.
Please note that I’m not willing to trade under any circumstances. Sorry.
Pictures:
(Taken with a cell phone camera. Sorry if they’re a little obscure, but I don’t have access to a digital camera).
Here are all the main items (laptop, iPod video, iMuffs, and case). I’m more than willing to add additional pictures of anything, get better close-ups, and/or get photos of the cables, Asus V1Jp software, etc. if requested; I just thought I’d photograph the pertinent items first.
Closing:
Lastly, I don’t have a selling history on eBay at all, but I’m a verified PayPal member (located in southern California). This will be the first time I’ve sold anything tangible. I’m open to all questions, concerns, and comments, and I look forward to a smooth, speedy transaction. Thanks a lot for looking.
