Anyone else surprised?
I fully expected apple to go 16:9, but instead they went 16:10. I am very happy that they could do that since other players like Lenovo have publicly claimed they were moving to 16:9 because they had no other choice..
Was anyone else surprised by this?15" Retina Macbook Pro - 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 8 gigs ram, 256GB Flash Storage, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5.
Thinkpad T500 - Intel Core2 P8400 (2.26GHz), 4 gigs of ram, 160GB/7200rpm hard drive, ATI 3650 GPU, WSXGA+ panel

Re: Anyone else surprised?
I was surprised that Lenovo tried to claim they had no choice as an excuse... which is really a flat out lie to try to get people to shut up...
but no, i wasn't surprised Apple stuck with 16:10.Wineskin 2.5 is available!. Turn Windows apps into Mac apps for free!

Re: Anyone else surprised?
no, apple has stuck with 16:10 for a long time, and they're using custom expensive panels now anyway. makes perfect sense to keep things 16:10

Re: Anyone else surprised?
I think the lenovo side is going to be upset that apple is still able to source parts in 16:10...

Re: Anyone else surprised?
And I would have liked for them to have a retina display option on the 13in pro or air for an extra cost.
