    Default Custom backplates?

I was wondering if there is a manufacture that sells a custom backplate with grill bezels or something with the intentions of hopefully dissipating heat a lot quicker.

Nope. Mostly you can only 'mod' it yourself. That's what you get for 'unibody' design

yikes, that would most likely void the warranty. I know I've read mbp can take the heat well up to 100 degrees but the thought of that still frightens me. Perhaps I should just go AW.

Would cooler pad have any affect on the unibody design?

If as the papers say it will take heat that well, the fact that when it reaches 70C, you do not want to touch anywhere on the laptop. Unless you use it stationary, have the keyboard and mouse wirelessly connected and hook up to a monitor then you're good. Otherwise, go for a Dual cores CPU. It will still be blazing fast

I read about someone putting small holes in the bottom of their mbp , as they had an extra backplate and a drill press, and it did seem to run cooler, even though people told him it shouldnt. But it did.

Dont remember where I saw that at?

I am pretty sure that 15 inches and above are all quad cores. The OP never said which screen size he prefers.

What are you going to use the laptop for
Will you be running OS X or Win7/Win8 most of the time
    Are you a hardcore gamer?
    Do you like to overclock?

Most importantly, do you REALLY need OS X?

    Please answer these questions first
