Re: Dell credit cards???
I flatly refused to get the card for the discount, and still got the discount anyway. I told them they would be getting my money regardless and not a penny more as I would be paying the balance immediately, and it was ridiculous to offer me a discount just to try to help me further my own debt. Particularly in the current economic environment, partly fueled by credit card over-spending.
I told them it was unethical and said unless I got the discount without that card, they could kiss my order goodbye - his mistake for having mentioned it at all. I was about to hang up when he gave me the discount without the card.
Not saying I honestly believe such offers are really unethical or not, it's business and capitalism and regardless of how I feel they're free to do it until there's a law against such offers.
What I am saying is that you can get the discount without getting the card if you play it right, and that's honestly the best way in my book.

Re: Dell credit cards?
well im looking at the 0% interest and getting the m18x r2 and turning around and using the 5% back to buy the m17x r4. I plan to pay if off regardless so just wanted to know if its worth getting card now or when placing order.

Re: Dell credit cards?
I would do it when placing the order. I think you get 3% off for signing up.
