i just got a mobo replacement, but am too scared to used my optical audio again....

im thinking its not fixed yet, because the mobo replacement was bios version A00, and the date on the board wad 01/01/10....

Check the version number on the board via cpuz u might've gotten an old B2 mobo the one with crazy Sata issue

faked... for many reasons. but for one do you really think they doubled the count from the 580? and also there is a lower case k in the gpu.

Hmm, i am all over this forum at mo as was about to bite the bullet on an m17x r3 with a 580m card. Would it be a rediculous waste of money now if these are around the corner? Its gonna cost me about £1450 just to get the 2670 with 3d screen and the 580m card. So its a lot to throw away if there are prospects right around the corner.

What do people think? Also am i likely to get this laptop any cheaper using a rep? This was done using e-value and 8% epp discount so i cant get it any lower myself

I would try, the worse that can happen is nothing... but I would use the ideas from the save money thread...

Dont think thats going to be a problem, if a tablet GPU can power it I dont see a Nvidia card or AMD not powering it.

The problem is a tablet and a laptop are two different animals Maybe I could see this in the new m18xR2 with dual GPUs
