Your contact details (for my rep - email & telephone preferable)
The system you are interested in (eg M17x R3 / XPS / AW Desktop etc)
Wether or not you are purchasing on Dell Finance or outright via your own methods.

In return for that, I will forward your contact details to the relevant Dell contact who helped me and he will contact you via email or phone as soon as possible.

Hi all regulars and long time lurkers.

I just had a few questions:

    1. Isn't BundleBox giving a US address rather then UK? Or maybe it's just me not finding the right info, but if I google bundlebox I only get US address provider.

@steviejones133: Some time ago you mentioned Forward2me and they do seem to give you a UK address.

    2. Can I still use Your contacts (reps) even though I'm not a UK resident?

I gave BundleBox as an example of the type of service you would need to find so that you could get a UK address that would then forward your purchases on to you.

I don't know which freight forwarding service you could use, I would advise a bit of research and maybe even contact a few to ask them if they can assist. Explain to them that you need a UK address and then your item forwarding on to you in your country.

If all goes well with that, I dont see any reason why you cant use my rep but I dont want to give out false information regarding to the delivery of your machine.

BTW guys - 680m is up on Dell UK. I'm gonna see if its available in sli on the 18x and will get back to you....

Just an update. Although SLI is not visible on the UK website, it can be added manually now for the M18x R2 - UK website price from my contact is to be £1020 (£850+vat) which is more than what I was expecting....it actually doesnt make sense for it to be THAT much more than one card...if its £430 for one card & heatsink, surely it shouldnt cost that MUCH more for SLI...my maths says that 2 cards and 2 heatsinks should be around £860 so that means the SLI ribbon is costing £160 LOLOL - mind you, looking at a single 675m vs. 675m SLI, thats also alot more than double the cost of a single so I guess its in line with Dells pricing strategies.

Saying that, it annoys the hell outta me that in the US, single 680m is $550 and SLI is simply double the cost.....this just isnt fair pricing!

    Its £430 for a single 680m in the 17x.....

So, those of you who want to order from the UK/Ire, you can PM me and I can see if my rep can help out, if you like.

So for 680m SLI does your rep accept arms , legs , kidneys etc ??

I would of thought the pricing would of been inline with desktop GPU's as a guide. Early adopter and price gouging withstanding

Hahaha - I would have to sell my organs too at those prices. I knew that they were gonna cost alot more than AMD as they always do. what is unfair though is that Dell's weird pricing sees us pay alot more than double the cost of a single gpu for SLI.

Guys in the US just simply pay double the cost of a single which really peeves me off....if it were the same in the UK, £860 would be far more realistic vs. £1020.

It's still a massive mark up from the 7970m though, would have to be a hell of a performance increase to justify it IMHO

Pricing aside , I would still be interested in seeing the figures for the 4gb VRAM version versus the 2gb VRAM version in single and SLI mode , cos its bugging me

Whats the reason that Dell aren't offering the 4gb VRAM version ??

Not sure. TBH, from what I've read up on the differences, it actually wont make much of a difference. It's also possibly cheaper for Dell to acquire the 2gb versions....
