Three years earlier a car and drivinglicence and now the big gaming Laptop. I think my wife is right I am crasy.
    Hahaha, I feel your pain!

Thing is, although you see a list price online of £3175, I am imagining my rep can get you that a good few hundred pounds cheaper, certainly below £3k.

Obviously, I can't promise the exact level of discount as that's down to him, but once you have PM'd me with your contact details and system spec's that you want, I can forward your details along to my guy who will contact you to arrange a good deal for you - that, I promise.

    Ahh somewhere understud me.

I don't expect the BIIIIIG discount you know I am fully aware of the price and was ready to pay in full but then I discovered this webside and curiosity kills the cat.

I wait for the PM rights.

Properly to join a other thread too.

Hey I was just wondering if your rep can only help people who are ordering from the UK or would I be able to get a discount if I was ordering from Germany also since it will be ordered off the UK site ?

As long as you can provide a UK or Irish address to ship to, my rep can assist you with your order. I dont think he can place an order for a machine that has nothing to do with UK&Ire.

    Hello!

I was thinking about XPS L702x (FHD AG, GT555m and NBD) but atm Dell offers GT555m only with 3D LCD and resellers don't have NBD, only CAR. So i changed my mind and now I'm looking for M17x4.

Because I wasn't looking at AW before it is hard to me assess if that price is attractive. Here is a config - maybe someone more experienced with AW prices can look at it.

I am sure about the modell, so far I prefer the M18x-R2 because of the capability to be long time on top.
I think my daughter is some kind special because she is a gamer and thats not all, she likes egoshooter.
In my opinion they are much overrated but for this kind of game you need so much power you can get.

I came up with a config.
2X4gb Ram 1600Mhz because I haved heared is much cheaper to buy later bigger ones.
    Dual 2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 675M SLI™
because I prefer NVIDIA but I am not absolutly sure this card provides more power then the ATi option (my IT-guys are german based and they fighting now for 3 days about this matter )
1TB 5,400rpm SATA 6Gb/s HDD// the space is the point // games need space, right?
English Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium (64 BIT) ist enough... I think
DVD+/-RW (Read/Write) she has a blu ray player.

    Intel® Core™ i7-3820QM (8MB Cache, up to 3.7GHz w/ Turbo Boost 2.0)
this I m worry most because this looks like noit enough.

then of course full accident and next days support cover for 3 years.

Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230 with Bluetooth 4.0 because my It guys told me with the Killer you get perfomence problems thru throttel effects, what ever this means.

First Problem, I am looking for the Nebula Red version but the UK give me only the black version choice. That sad

    okay now your turn.
8GB of Ram is enough for gaming, if your looking to upgrade it to 16gb regardless then you may as well just get the standard 6GB.

The dual 7970m crossfire is roughly twice as powerful as 675 sli. Though if you want to stick with Nvidia, the 680m will be released before the end of the month and they are suppose to be on par with the 7970m if not a little better, though they will likely cost substantially more.

Hardrive wise 1TB is more than enough, infact 500gb is enough for me.. and I have wow, starcraft, rift, diablo, crysis, swtor ect and barely half full.

As for processor, any of the available processors will be fine for gaming, your graphics card will bottle neck the system before the processor.

As for colour red is available, its only not available for the m18x R1. Steves rep is pretty good, I would expect 12-13% off at least if your spending £3k.. since you can get 10% with generic codes as it is.

If you know someone in the UK, maybe a friend or relative could help you out with an address.

Also, have you looked into a freight forwarding service such as BundleBox that would give you a UK address and then ship the system on to you in Germany?
