Re: UK Sales Adviser
Here's another one I used back in the past. Not sure if he's going to be very helpful on the sales advice, etc part, but if you know what you want and ask him to price it up and push for his best price, he can usually do a pretty good deal. I know when I bought my Inspiron 9300 off him about 4-5 years ago, he knocked about 6-700 quid off the retail price.
Just tell him that a fellow forum recommended him to you for the best price from Dell. Good luck

Re: UK Sales Adviser
I can personally vouch for Vijay, (as oneabove and hubs have posted) for UK Alienware.....
He is the vey best rep I have ever dealt with regarding Dell / Alienware.
This guy goes "the extra mile" to make sure that his customers get the very best deal possible. Trust me, I have dealt with some reps who dont want to do a thing to help out but with Vijay, the man is an absolute star.
Ive spent hours on the phone with him talking over various specifications and each time, he has gone and done his very best to see what the best deal would be on them.
He calls back when he says he will, he is available to get on the phone, he returns emails quickly (ive had some who dont even bother do do either).
All in all, I cant sing his praises highly enough.....if there were a gold medal for Alienware, Vijay would have lots of them LOL
I wont post details about the deal that he has arranged for me but I will say that it was REALLY good....
If you want to deal with him, he will reply to your email request I am sure and his email address is p_kumar2@dell.com
If you do email him, again you should say that you have been referred by me, and state that you got a referal from the notebookforums. Just tell him Steve Jones referred you....I am positive he will do his very best to get you the best deal available at that time.
Vijay, if you read this, THANKS SOO MUCH, REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP....if i ever get round to visiting, you can show me around!!! - I will hold you to that!

Re: UK Sales Adviser
Well, put it this way.....he was more helpful than those guys in corporate resolutions....the guy ACTUALLY listened to me...talked WITH me and not TO me.....went out of HIS way to help ME.
It was NEVER about what I WANTED....apart from to be treated like a customer who had gone through a terrible experience of having so many dodgy brand new systems.
I can strongly recommend Vijay to ANYONE who is looking for a good quote on a system.Main PC
