Nice thats a tempting laptop i didnt realize the m15 ran the 940 also. This is one beast of a laptop. I am still holding out for the next 17".

Talking about 3D screens finally one that makes sense from AUO shown here.

No glasses, no deadzone, 2D to 3D easy switching. No idea how nice the screen would look and the screen quality but it's a step in the right direction for the 3D crowd.

Yep. Putting it all together with a high resolution and having the screen be of an actual high quality will be a while off.

I speculate that there will be a significantly thinner m11x in the near feature. Not quite as thing as another 11.6" notebook like the MacBook Air, but maybe around 1" thick and some tapering. I'd also bet on a price drop. If they do go the thinner direction, it won't be that much more powerful than the second generation m11x.

Will the ATI 6 series cards work on the current R2's? If so, I'd definitely buy those.

Damn just ordered mine before seeing this thread/forum. Is it possible to cancel my order and order the new version of Alienware? Will the new version be launched in Australia at the same time as overseas?
