Very awesome article! I'll definitely be using this to help tweak my ssd.

So this is probably a stupid question, but are all SSDs 2.5"? I was looking on newegg and didn't see anything physically smaller or larger. I was just concerned if I bought the wrong size and it wouldn't fit into the m11x.

(this is my first laptop/netbook/notebook ever...so excited its actually faster than my current desktop)

The Pentium is a dual core processor also. There's a link somewhere in this thread (it might even be on the first page, not sure) to the Intel site comparing the two processors. The difference is negligible.

Overclocking is another matter, though. What we do know is that the SU7300 overclocks extremely well. The Asus UL line ships with the SU7300 overclocked all the way to 1.73GHz and the HardwareHeaven.com review overclocked the M11x's SU7300 to 1.6GHz with only a 1 degree C increase.

No problem. I did the same thing as you: jumped at it because it said "Core 2 Duo" and didn't realize the Pentium was pretty much the same processor.

I just look at it this way: I saved more than the upgrade cost.

Equivalent to christmas but more in my opinion. It is the time of year where you try to visit any family, actually like all family. It is a big freaking deal. If people here in the states can take off a week for Christmas to new years along with tons of other holidays then give the chinese their holiday. I can bet they work harder than many of us in terms of hours and physical labor. I'm waiting for this unit too but no need to be selfish about it. This post angered me at first but whatever. Chill out.

Sorry for typos I'm on iPod touch haha
I was rather pissed about some other things when I wrote that, but as far as I am aware, Americans dont usually take off the entirety of christmas/new years etc. Maybe I just live in a strange part of the U.S. but my entire family and I only get off the 25th, MAYBE early on the 24th and new years day/possibly eve. Every other day needs to be a vacation or sick day in order to be taken off.

Sorry about the cultural boundaries but I'm completely flabbergasted by 2 whole weeks off of for the new year, do the Chinese not have a single holiday the rest of the year?

Yup only schools in the US get 1-2 weeks off. People with real / high end jobs only get maybe the 2 days before xmas and the day after.

see, thats what I'm talking about. Is it unique that the U.S. doesn't uber-celebrate a single holiday like other countries such as apparently Vietnam and China?

Maybe it's because my family is in the aircraft industry and have been apart of that for a long time they choose to be off work. People can work during this time for holiday pay throughout which is nice I guess. I can't speak forthe Chinese since I'm not familiar with all the holidays but maybe the manufacturing parts don't get much of any days off til new years.

I mean for Comparing American holidays like with banks for example, there's a lot of days off. Also I don't know if we know for sure if it is indeed a full two week vacation. I was just upset about the "crap" reference since this holiday is huge for my family, always has been.

I don't think it's so much that as they really don't celebrate that many holidays like we do here in the States. I lived in S. Korea when I was a kid and Lunar New Years and Korean Thanksgiving were the two big holidays of the year. Even Christmas wasn't as big. But school went from monday to saturday (luckily I went to dod schools and not korean schools like my cousins) with only sundays off and most businesses did not shut down for minor holidays.
