    Default M17x graphic cards questions

    i just open occt doing stress test but some reason it only shown 1 graphic card instead of 2(yes sli r on) but CPUID shown 2 graphic cards ,when i run the test the 2nd card run hotter then the fisrt...pls some1 care to explain?

    if you use the Auto-Install version of OCCT uninstall it and download the ZIP File, extract it and run it again.
    (That worked for my M17x)

    Sounds like you're only loading one card, try DJ's advice.

    so its occt not graphic cards problem right? i always thuoght 1 of the card might be dead

    You'd know if one card was dead. It certainly wouldn't show up in hardware monitor, and it's questionable if the computer would even boot.

    Isn't one GPU the master and the other the slave so it's normal for one to run slightly hotter then the other? I guess it depends on how big the differance is.

    yea i understand that ,but arent the master suppose to get hotter then the slave..?but instead my slve card get hotter then the master by more than 10 degree..

    sounds like driver issue
    ASUS g73 jh i7920xm @anything i want stable
    16 gigs of ddr3 1333
    1 ssd 256 and a 500
    5870 ati ddr5
    bluray burner.
    1920/1080 led screen
    ic diamond on it all...the best upgrade...

    i would go thru the web site and download off of the correct ones...and see what happens then........
