Mac osx on M17x?
Has anyone put osx on a M17x? I really don't want to go out and have to purchase an Apple yet? The career field I'm getting my associates degree in mostly uses Macs but I don't want one. Yet I need to be able to learn my way around a mac and get used to it.

Re: Mac osx on M17x?
Somebody please correct me if I'm mistaken but you cannot install Mac OSX on non-Apple hardware. You just can't. There is something about the properitary mac hardware that allows the OSX to run. There may have been some improvements on the virtualization side but you can't do a native install of the mac osx.

Re: Mac osx on M17x?
Currently, Apple's EULA(End User License Agreement) prohibits installing MAC OS X on any non-apple labeled hardware, and because of this, NBR does not allow discussion of OS X on PC(aka Hackintosh) for any reason. Also, please do not point to any resources that violate Apple's EULA and/or the forum rules.
