I would like to say thank you for your excellant review, i think it's the best yet for the M15X.
It makes me even more sure about getting the M17X, looking at the build quality that shows in your pictures, there's no "Oops you got the inferior parts" like Dell seems to do on the XPS 1730.
Just one question :- Will you be doing some benchmarks and Vista useability scoring?

there no need to open covers to see it

you can use everest, you don't have to install it and it's very useful

Once i get home i will slip the bottom off. I ordered it originally with 2 gigs of ram but i bought a 4 gig set that im gonna install. Also i will do some vista tests. If there any specific benchmarks you want let me know. I already have one set up in my review.

eh, where did you get you're RAM from, i've been looking at Crucial but, not sure what RAM would suit the M17X and wondered if the same types would work?

what kind of ram have you bought? maybe you can tell us vista score with 2GB and cas ?? and with the new 4GB with CAS ??.
