    hello,

i know my CPU support VPRO. but the technology require support in bios too. i just flashed my laptop with the "unlocked" bios but still can't find anything about vpro or intel AMT.

anybody know if it can be enabled or not?

because i want to test VPRO "play with it" before i go and order bunch of computer with VPRO for my customer!

    thank you!

Probably you should ask Mr. SVL7 that question. He could be the right person to have the answer since he is the one that has unlocked the bios

Have you tested it already? If not, go ahead and do so. It may be enabled by default without an option to disable it.

every vpro setup i've seen require some bios level access to use CTRL-P to access intel AMT setup.

since this doesn't work on my alienware and even with unlocked bios i don't see anything related to AMT. i don't think its possible even if cpu and chipset support it.

would have been nice to a minimum enable the anti-thief part of it so if my laptop get stolen it would always call home... without paying 3rd party for LoJack!

There may still be some hidden menus that the unlocked BIOS did not reveal. You would need to find out from svl7 if that is the case.
