Alienrespawn assitance
Hi All,
I have just upgraded my M18XR1 with a nice new SSD and a 1TB HDD.
I have done a fresh windows install and all seems well.
I have also re-installed the basic edition of Alien Respawn. My problem is that with my old setup I had Alien Respawn Premium which I had upgraded to. I want to re-activate it but I don't seem to have kept my activation code.
I can not find a link anywhere that will give me access to support for this product to request a new activation code.
Does anyone know how I can get in touch with them?
Cheers
MP

Re: Alienrespawn assitance
Howdy All,
Hope you can help me out here. I just purchased and Alienware M14X R2, love it by the way, and tried using AlienRespawn to complete a full system backup. I set it up to back up to my external hard drive F: When the backup was completed the pop up completion screen freaked me out because it said that it had backed up to my hard drive C: rather than F: Sure enough when I checked properties on my C: drive a huge hunk is now used space. AlienRespawn now cannot "see" this backup on the c: drive for me to delete it. It keeps asking me to plug in the drive where the the system backup is stored.
What a mess. I sure hope someone can help me out here.
Thank you!
Dallas Phil

Re: Alienrespawn assitance
Hi Phil. I guess your only solution is (if you did not use your system alot) is to restore your system to the factory mode. Start alienrespawn and hit restore button to factory default. You may save your files on an external hdd before doing this.
Once the system has been restored, you will go through the same trouble of setting it up (same as you have started first time).
When you finished the process of restore / setting it up, open alienrespawn and you should be good to make another clean backup on your external hdd. Please make sure you do select the external hdd before making the backup. Hope this helped...M18X-R2 l i7 3920XM | 680 SLi l 16GB DDR3 HyperX PnP l 1080P l BLU-RE l Win 7 U l 240GB mSATA | SANDISK EXTREME SSD X3 |
