For arguments sake yank out a card from one of your other machines and see if you can connect with that card installed because it could be a software issue somewhere vs hardware .

its hardware took the network card from my gf m18 and put it on mine deleted all drivers for killer and installed intel ones and it worked tried that on hers and did the exact same thing with killer being installed on hers so leaves me to believe hardware and not software....unless im doing something completely wrong

than the problem is the card, call dell tech support.

I actually had the very same issue with my R1 although I have a regular wireless card. I had no Internet for two weeks and dell support said without a doubt it was the service provider not the hardware. What fixed my issue was we completely reset the router and created a new SSID and password, it's been good ever since.

talked to dell today and they are sending me a new card and i am going to install it myself. i swapped out my killer card and it didnt work in my gf m18x or my m14x but the intel card worked perfect on my m18x. Luckily it was easy to do now i just have to wait until it comes in so i can swap it out and hopes it works.

So got did a fresh window install installed the new killer card that they sent me and still does not work now i know 2 cards cant be bad i tried the driver software from dell and on the cd that came with laptop but still same issue... So idk what to do i really like the m18x even though i havent done anything with it i use my gf 1 and its a fantastic machine to use but if i cant get it to work by monday im going to return it for refund. I had my friend look at it and he pretty much did the same thing i did and he has more experience building and fixing computers.

Now could it be that one of the wires that connects to the wifi card is disrupting the whole thing since the intel 2230 works on my m18?

Now i do connect to my wifi network i put in correct password and i can see my network out of the 4 that show. Now when i am connected it shows it as unidentified network and list it as limited connection. When i do diagnostic on my computer now its showing the default getaway is not available which idk what it means....wasnt showing this before

any help would be much appreciated.

Reread my post above. I had the same issue. Try my resolution.

You could try the Atheros driver (BigFoot 1103 = Atheros AR938X)
    Atheros & Zidas drivers
    Version 10.0.0.55 WHQL (might help)
