    Default M18x Fan.

I was maintains/cleaning my m18x fans, i noticed the right 3th fans has less dust, its like never spring , is that normal? Usually the 1st gpu fan and 2nd cpu fan always full of dusts. Also those metal plate in those fan , are they useful?

Your fans dont run the same bc of your GPU differances the master works harder than the slave. Thats why its never spring.

Yeah its normal for some fans to run more than others there are several programs to monitor fan speeds and gpu and cpu temps.

    Hi iPhantomhives,

Nice I see you have the cyber clean flubber there too! Love that stuff lol.

I would leave the metal plates on the fans. I would say their main purpose is to direct as much of the heat by sucking it out through the fans and then trying to disperse it through the fans and back out the vents at the rear.

If you take the fan metal plates off then the air direction will be all over the place and not fully directed at moving the air out through the rear of the notebook, if you get what I mean.

    Cheers.

This is correct but just to add that they always spin, at a lower or higher rate.
