    There is not much of a change as everyone has observed. The truth is that the price has come down quite a bit, compared to the previous version. Probably when the new GPU's and CPU's come out, the changes will apply into the 'price'... As far as I believe, I think it is a revision 2 for the m18x, before you click on any link and you hold the mouse on it you will see the 'extension' of the link m14x-r2, m17x-r4, m18x-r2...

    I see they don't even offer the wireless HD adaptor anymore....

    Looks like 2 SSD's in raid and then a plater drive can be added for data.

    guys those are the new machines if you noticed the M18X show 3 hard drives that means dell is not listing the ivy bridge because of intel but this is a pre order of the new machines

    According to Notebookcheck, 675m is under 5% better than 580m. But this might be wrong.

    3 HDD's...
    Are they all regular 2.5" or only 2 of them?

    I'll wait until Ivy Bridge processors are listed before putting in my order.

    Actually I think there are only 2 hdd and a slot which is called msata. Smaller size SSD drives which can be used as the operating system.

    You will use your other 2 hdd / ssd for your own data

    Example:
    OCZ joins the mSATA SSD Battlefield
