Has anyone used a PlayStation 3D Display with a 580M SLI M18x?
I've been looking for a 3D monitor for my M18x(Nvidia) & AW ALX desktop(Nvidia) and this monitor seems like the perfect canidate. I already have 2 new Samsung 55" 2011 240hz 3D LED SmartTV's(D8000 & D7000 series) and would like something in the 23" range. I think for what you get the price seems reasonable, it's 240hz comes with the latest Motorstorm game, a pair of 3D glasses and a HDMI cable. I forgot to mention that it has built in speakers and a subwoofer!! Currently this display is on sale for 179.99USD at Bestbuy!! This is an amazing display. Some of the earlier models experienced a red light of death error. The later displays have been error free as far as I know. For peace of mine I purchased a 19.99 2 year Blacktie warranty. This is too good of a deal to pass up. An extra pair of rechargable Sony Playstation 3D universal glasses only cost 29.99USD now. Because Nvidia is greedy 3DTV play needs to be activated for 40.00USD to utilize 3D from the M18x. 3D coming from this beast looks amazing. The CECH-ZRC1U(newly revised) Playstation remote supports this display.

It's confirmed. It does work with Nvidia 3D Vision. As we type I am on the phone with Sony Support who says it works just like any other 3D TV. My Samsung TV's works with Nvidia 3D Vision with My Samsung glasses....so this should be no different.

That display is 240hz and the glasses to it have the same 120hz rate as the Nvidia 3D Vision 2 glasses have. My Fiance is picking it on the way home....maybe
she wants me to hold off until Black friday

She thinks it is going to be on sale...lol. I know from experience that my Samsung glasses/TV work with Batman:AA that uses Nvidia 3D Vision.
I really appreciate your objectiveness. I'm about to drop down 499.99USD for this set and would like to be talked out of it. My friend just picked his up and is leaving the store. Within the hour I will know from him how good the display really is. We both own High end Samsung 3D displays. Maybe I'll take my M18x over there and find out.Alienware Nebula Red M18x | 1920x1080 | i7 2960XM | 580M SLI | 512GB SSD, 640GB 7200RPM HDD | 16GB DDR3@1866Mhz | Blu-ray | Intel 6300 | Bluetooth 3.0 | WirelessHD | Tactx KB & Tactx Mouse | G13 & G35 | XBox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver | Cisco E4200 2.0new iPad 4 64GB 4G LTE AT&T 2048x1536 Retina Display

Interesting.
How much better is Nvidia 3D Vision with Nvidia 3D Vision glasses than using a 3D ready set and enabling 3D in game?Alienware Nebula Red M18x | 1920x1080 | i7 2960XM | 580M SLI | 512GB SSD, 640GB 7200RPM HDD | 16GB DDR3@1866Mhz | Blu-ray | Intel 6300 | Bluetooth 3.0 | WirelessHD | Tactx KB & Tactx Mouse | G13 & G35 | XBox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver | Cisco E4200 2.0new iPad 4 64GB 4G LTE AT&T 2048x1536 Retina Display
