I read something (In French) that tell us that Dell will drastically reduce is support of low cost product and give more effort for the middle and High level product.

If they were to make the M18x.R2 out of plastic like the M17x.R3 I don't think I would have any interest in owning one. The anodized aluminum chassis is at least 50% of what made the M17x.R1/R2 and M18x "to die for" awesome... with the other 50% of the awesomeness owed to being dual GPU.
