    Default AMD 6990 OCing Comparisons

    Hey all just want to get a feel for how good/bad my cards are ... and I think they are pretty good. I am running stable at good temps (max I have seen on internal GPU sensors is 84C)

    Core Clock 865
    Mem Clock 1175


    Stock Dell Drivers

    Stock Paste, ambient room temp about 25 C, Bios A02, using Sapphire Trixx.
    Alienware m18x, i7 2920XM OC @ 4.5GHz , 8GB HypEr X 1866MHz RAM, Dual 2GB Radeon 6990 X-Fire @ 880/1195 , 3DMark Vantage: 30325 Crucial M4 128 GB + 320GB 7200RPM HD
    Samsung Galaxy S2 - Dual Core Overclocked 1.5 GHz Processor, 32GB Storage, Super AMOLED+ screen, one sexy phone.

    Ya... I'm thinking they are real good.

    On Stock Driver
    The highest Ive ran mine benching is
    Core Clock 855
    Mem Clock 1155
    Stock Voltage.

    I'm real interested on what you find as the limit then test with new drivers.

    One rep for taking the time to do this testing.

    That is very good.

    800/1000 is max for me. And even then it's not 100% stable. I still crash here and there with those OC values. So I usually stick around 750-780 core clock and 1000 mem clock.

    what Bios vers do you have ?

    I can push 840/1060 and thought that was on the high end, so yes, those are VERY good clocks. My temps never go above 80c at about the same ambiant temp, however.

    Stock voltage, I assume?

    yes Stock Voltage Harmattan

    Cahcexic you can either enter the bios on boot up and it will tell you or I think System information will list it as well...

    I can push 850/1100........ anything higher and i get BSOD issues i am running stock dell drivers
