Re: Sleeves, Backpacks and Cases that would fit the Alienware M18x
Hi everyone!
I've been lurking around for a while now, and first let me say kudos to everyone involved in this great community
I have recently purchased an M18x that is yet to arrive. My original plan was to get an M17x before they pulled the 3D option, but anyway that is why I already bought a Case Logic 17.3 Laptop Backpack. I was wondering if it would also fit my 18x by any chance.
Sorry if it was already discussed before, forum search turned up nothing.
Thanks in advance
Edit: I know the specs on the page don't seem big enough, but I was wondering if anyone has a personal experience of a tight fit etc.Last edited by Xasf; 3rd May 2012 at 07:47 AM.

Re: Sleeves, Backpacks and Cases that would fit the Alienware M18x
No experience with this particular bag, but I'd say very unlikely since I've noticed most bags just weren't made for 18"+ laptops. Some bags like the Targus would fit, but usually not. In general, I've noticed the recommended specs for most bags to be accurate.
Caselogic usually doesn't make them extra big I don't think. If someone tries, I'll update the list...Alienware M14X: Stealth Black | i7-2630QM | 4GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM | 14" 1600x900 | 1.5GB GT555M | 500GB 7200RPM | Intel WiFi Link 1000 | 60GHz WirelessHD

Do you know if the M18x will fit in the Astro Scout backpack?

Re: Sleeves, Backpacks and Cases that would fit the Alienware M18x
I had to Google that because I have never even heard of it before. ASTRO Scout Backpack
After looking at the specs, it might be large enough for the M18x. They don't tell the dimensions of the laptop compartment. If the measurements provided are external dimensions, it's going to be a very tight fit, if at all.

I have one that I use for my current 17.3” laptop and my PS3 is why I was wondering. Guess I will find out when it get here and I will post here to let everyone know. I’m also going to order a Alienware Orion M18x Backpack just in case it doesn’t fit, don’t want to be without a case. Got to protect that investment!

Well, that's very cool. I look forward to seeing those photos. Hopefully, it will fit. I love my Orion M18x backpack, but having options is a good thing. I like the looks of that Astro Scout.

You can get the everki titan for under 100 dollars on amazon (a third less than what it is on everki's site)

The Titan is also a nice one. Seems that everyone that owns one likes it.
