So I have not been able to find it anywhere else, but does anyone else sell the M18x bag? I noticed amazon and newegg have the 17 version, but I guess it may just be a matter of time before that bag shows up elsewhere. I'm having a hard time stomaching $120 bag.

Not sure when it will ship, but on the Mobile Edge site, there is a banner ad saying you can get 20% off your total order (Memorial day sale) so it'll knock the price down to 95.99...The coupon code is "MEM11"

On my last few trips, I just left my laptop in my sleeve and wasn't asked anything. I figure the scanners should be able to zap right through some neoprene.

I'm not able to add the orion 18x into my cart. I might try calling them up but I have a feeling that they aren't going to let you purchase the backpack yet. I high doubt they will let you use the 20% coupon as well.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the Everki Beacon? Seems to be one of the very few 18" capable laptop backpacks available in NZ...

Zombie, could you give us your opinion on things like padding, protection, functionality etc? That's another we can get in NZ but it's more costly than most.

    TIA.

Could you check how wide the pocket in front of the laptop is? Couldn't find many pics/video reviews of this one.
