Guys, let's put BF3 signature like I did, like this it's easier for us to play together.

Btw, I'm a noob though.

Re: M17x - Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
Hi everybody,
I am having an issue with my Alienware M17x R2 and Battlefield 3 and I don´t know how to resolve it. So before buying BF3, I had the original graphics driver installed on my system (never did anything on that). However, Origin or BF3 told me that I should update my driver and i downloaded the new catalyst driver (Version 2011.1012.1625.27603) and when I installed it I got a bluescreen. I could only reboot and remove the driver in safe mode. I installed it again and now, when changing something in the settings I get another bluescreen. I don´t know whats wrong. Which driver should I get for my system and how do I uninstall the old one cleanly?
Thanks so much guys!!!

Re: M17x - Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
I think you should update the VBIOS. Have you done that?
It enables you to update to latest AMD driver.
Drivers and Downloads
There you go.Hope that helps.

Re: M17x - Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
Anyone able to get the new 285.79 Beta drivers working on there 580m system? Oddly enough I can install the official 285.62 no problem but can't get the beta ones to install.
They fix a bunch of stuff for BF3 so it be nice getting them running.M18x | Core i7 2860QM | HyperX 16GB DDR3-1600 | 256GB M4 SSD | GTX580 SLI | 1080p 60 Hz Screen
