    the 675m is based on 2 generation old 40nm fermi tech. I can, without any hesitation, recommend a 28nm 7970m OVER the 675m. I'm playing games right now without comprises. It's almost like i'm on a gaming desktop

    the 7970m has enduro which is amd's version of optimus. So you are covered

    If ups deliver today as promised I might be able to get you those m17x r4 genuine benchmarks with the 7970m and ivy bridge.

    They have 1hr to meet their stated -by end of day- deadline. Fingers crossed!

    you can use FRAPS to run a fps counter.

    I'm guessing

    5500-5800's 3Dmark11 @ stock with tessellation on
    20-21 vantage

    Test Vantage and 3DMark11, and give 3DMark06 a run for kicks. All at the preset defaults.
