Unfortunately, ever since the new VBIOS and Dell drivers, every time I've tried to uninstall (express, custom, blah blah blah) right after the Catalyst Install Manager step it BSODs and goes into a loop. Have to go to Safe Mode to remove it the rest of the way before I can reinstall anything because I can't boot into Windows normally. This still leaves CCC intact with no way to remove it. I figure WTH, continue through the rest of the steps, clean everything off yadda yadda. Everything is cleaned off, but when I try to install it stops with with the log I posted before and nothing ever gets installed.

This is my result, but nothing other than the Install Manager actually got there. Nothing,.

At this point I'm just backing up my hard drives and I'm going to format/reinstall Windows. There's been too many other oddities going on with registry errors and such, this is just the icing on the cake now. Everything was working fine for almost 8 months at least >.>
Thats really weird....I was gonna suggest a clean reinstall but you beat me to it....if that doesnt work, i'd be on the dog'n'bone to Dell.....

Yup, CAP11.2 is installed. I figured that would have fixed it (missed it at first since I could only find 11.1 on the amd site) but it didn't. Just got home and got it all hooked back up, going to see if ME2 or anything else has issues right now.

EDIT: Just tested out ME2 (flickered), Vice City (flickered), Audiosurf (flickered), Assassin's Creed (fine), HL2 (fine), L4D 1&2 (finex2), Trine (fine), WoW (fine), and Zombie Driver (fine).

If anybody know i way to get rid of the flickering it would be really apreciated....

I like the new drivers but they flicker on some of my favorites games (ME2 over all...) Tried BFBC2 and it doesn't fliker...

I may give another try as per Steavie advice. (since it is a more deep cleaning of old driver than what i was actually doing)

try messing around with the tessellation settings after your clean install, because that is by far the biggest change i can see. also, u can try to enable vsync within your game, see if that helps.

    Alex, thanks for the answer.

I do play with v-sync enabled. I'll try to reinstall and to mess as you sugest with tesselation and maybe ati IA. I'll see what i can get and report back. Meanwhile, anyone willing to try ME2 or MoH? just to see if it is a common problem?

there must be something nasty going on with your system before you performa a clean format otherwise stevie's extremely elaborated and detailed method should 100% work. but glad it's going well now. enjoy the new driver

Yep. Must have been something not too "happy" about your previous install that wasnt allowing for a simple removal/install of the new drivers.....glad you got it sorted in the end though

Went back to what I was using before (10.12) and everything is a-ok again. No flickering in Arkham Asylum, Mass Effect 2, or anything else I saw flickering with while using 11.2.

Side question: Does anyone still have the 10.5 files? Been reading about a bug with fan clocks on the amd forums and I guess it is in all drivers past 10.5 and would like to test this. Can't seem to find them to download though.

OOOOK! problem solved no flickering anymore, the games i tryied so far are:

ME2, MoH, CODBO, Metro 2033, NFSHP, Dragon Age Origins, Dead Space 2

The problem resulted to be (tadaaaan!) M17X R2 Ultrasharp RGB LED screen profile-gives you a colourful screen

I did a clean install following to the letter what Steavie sugested (repped steavie, as usual, thank you!) Upon the first reboot the Color management was unable to charge the profile from the above post. I did a try with the games i was having trouble with and everything worked fine. After that i redo the procedure of the above post and the flikering was back.. So i reenabled the color control through CCC in order for the amd driver to be in charge of it, uninstalled the profile and the software in charge for loading it at each reboot and now i'm an happy panda flicker free

hope this may help somebody else
