Hmmmm I could have sworn i remember reading it didnt improve much, but I see now. you did the entire mod? or some of it?

Cooling mod makes a huge difference. I added copper tape to mine in addition to the retention mod and the GPU's never heat up no matter how hard I push them. I can do over 900 core and 1200 memory without it getting hot.
