Re: M17x DPC Latency
That is a NV Verde Driver issue (be helpful to know which driver you have installed) - try the current dell driver. Also revert back to default clocks.

Re: M17x DPC Latency
I'm running NV 258.96 Drivers @ default clocks It would still freeze.. I will try the current beta drivers from dell and see what happens.

Re: M17x DPC Latency
Is it safe to come out of the woods and install the A04 bios for R1? I searched back a few pages but haven't seen a definitive answer on whether the ac adapter and any other issues were solved. Thanks.

Re: M17x DPC Latency
Use either A03 or A05. Do not bother with A04 at all at this point

Re: M17x DPC Latency
For some, including myself, A05 has a bug as in windows doesn't charg the battery at a certain point if the battery is disabled (and discharged).

Re: M17x DPC Latency
Agreed - A03 is probably the BIOS of choice for now. The charge issue is the fail point for A05. A04 had the 193W issue.
Stick with A03 for now.

Re: M17x DPC Latency
With the NV Verde latest driver (258.96) i get random fps drops (caused by several DPC Latency spikes). Also changing from stealth mode to full power mode after sleep caused BSOD.
Anyway what is the best driver until now?
Edit : This is an example of what DPC Latency Checker shows during such a fps drop

Re: M17x DPC Latency
197.84 P06 beta driver from dell website is the best now, stable and good performance, all verde drivers cause random freezes
