I did a respawn and uninstalled/deleted the Nvidia HD controller drivers from the Device Manager. I've had the DPC checker open all day long and haven't seen anything over 2800.

I don't believe it had the same problem. However, i was still seeing spikes as high as 18k. I also posted a pic a few pages ago showing how I could make it spike to 5k+ at will.

The ATI R1's aren't as bad, but there is still a problem.

Guys i'm having some trouble. First of all since i installed the new 257.15 beta driver , while i watched videos on YouTube the computer froze , with a looping buzz sound. This happened two times in a week. The first time the display froze and the second time it went black. I strongly believe this problem is related to the driver , because this never happened before. Anyway the second problem , i believe there still is a problem with the DPC Latency because i got frequent video frame drops in Risen. I really hope the freezing problems come from the driver and not from the hardware.

Edit : I left DPC Latency checker on while i played Risen and there was an absolute of 33903 μs. So , the new driver is an improvement , but not a final fix.

Edit 2 : I followed BatBoy's stutter fix here and the frame drops are now gone.

It is the 257.15 driver issue, many users have reported the same problem here:

It is weird that some like BatBoy don't have the issue with the new beta driver.... I wonder why....

Sorry Arsenal... not sure what to say. No issues with the 257 driver.

Aye, the bug is widely reported on Clevo machines as well, not everyones got it, but its a good reason to wait for the next release
