Default GTX 560M not switching in to 3D Mode voltage

I'm new to the forum world so please bear with me if this question has been asked. I could not find the answer.

I recently updated my m15x video card from the 260m to the GTX 560M with great results. I've even found the most current modded drivers. However after a week or so I noticed my games such as Mass Effect 3 and skyrim's FPS dropped to a crawl. I used GPU-Z and saw that the VDDC was not changing from the idle 2D power of 0.8200v to the 1.0000 v it use to when I'd start any games. I've struggled for hours trying to get it to "WAKE UP" with very little luck. I've even tried overclocking apps like afterburner to adjust the voltage. but still no luck.

Has anyone had this issue and if so how can I fix it?

check >sure your not in stealth mode? focus on ur powerscheme - and change its settings to be at max performance.
check >swap driver to another release (clean install) - or complete reinstall of the current driver. Use driversweeper.
