Go to Intel website and run their automated tool for drivers. (remove any previous driver first
if installed correctly their Intel PROSet Wireless utilty thats bundled with the driver, will also tell you that all 3 antenna's are in use. (in details window

alright so i just got done doing this and the drivers are up to date but its still not working. My intel ultimate 6300 is in my control panel but it has a yellow exclamation mark and under its status it says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

uninstall the any yellow marked hardware completely in device manager. by right mouse click option. uninstall the whole device. try from safe mode. clean whole system out. then start over.

a yellow mark in device manager is known when there is some driver mismatch. yellow also indicates that ur hardware is WORKING allright but driver is not loaded.

hw dead/not working = red marking

after uninstalling and reinstalling drivers it still continues to have the yellow exclamation mark

on the ebay page it says

    Compatible With:

    IBM T410 X201 T510
    EDGE L412 L512 T410 T410S W510 W700 W701 X201/X201i/X201T/X201S
    R400 R500
    SL400 SL500

    W500 W700ds

    mmm thats odd.
    1. Check your hardware is connected/installed properly within m15x.
    2. You might also wanna do a search: by ur Hardware ID in Google. See what you get there.
Here are instructions how to do that (taken from 560m post)

To get the Hardware ID do the following:
    -Open ur Windows Device Manager
-Click on the "ur yellow" icon
    -Select "Properties"
-From the Properties window, select the "Details" tab
-From the drop down "Property" box, select "Hardware Ids"
-Copy the line shown and paste that it into Google. (I usually take the second line for my searches

It would look something like this:
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&SUBSYS_9072104D&REV_A2

    3. post ur HW ID here on the forum if it keeps not working

After having a search on pcidatabase of your device id 4238 it comes up with gigabit network connection when you cross reference it with your vendor id 8086. Have a look on that site and it'll point you to the right information.

It could be DOA. I once bought an Intel 5300 that was bust from the start. Return it!
