    Default Muffled/rattling subwoofer sound

Recently noticed that when I play my alienware loudly, either games or music, the bass ends up being noisy from the subwoofer. Is there a fix for it? Or is it normal and I'm overlooking that. Never really noticed it before.

Sounds like you blew your subwoofer.

When you play music or whatever you play, does it sound super crispy or sound like the equalizer is being set to Treble Boost? If so then your Sub woofer is blown, if not try reinstall your Realtek Audio driver, because sometime you might have had the sound setting messed up. If your Subwoofer is blown, you'll have to call Dell for a replacement, if your M14x is still under the warranty, if not you'll either have to pay for a new subwoofer or get one Online and DIY.

Thanks for the advice. My warranty expired a week ago (yeah i know). Is there a place to get the replacement part online and I can diy? I've been looking, can't find any. Or should I just contact dell and ask for a replacement part?
