I'm the proud new owner of an R2 and I still have my R1 sitting next to it. Please let me know if you guys want any direct comparisons of games done between the two. I did not even install BF3 on my R1, but I can say that I fooled around with a few multiplayer maps yesterday and the R2 performed like a champ!!

Oh man, I just re-watched Willz92's unbox video and they are putting the stickers on top now. My R1 had the i7 sticker on the bottom. I could deal with that. Try a hair dryer to soften the adhesive a bit, they should come off without damaging the surface. I believe there have been post about this, but I never thought it was on the palm rest. SHAME!!!

Scratch on the back or monitor or the palm rest. My R1 came with visible dent in the soft-touch just below the track pad buttons. I tried to ignore it, but finally called in. They can send a guy out to replace the casing if it's an issue. They wanted to see a picture of mine and sure enough, it was bad enough to qualify for the on-site repair.

I can't actually capture the scratch due to angle and light required to see it, I doubt they will re-do something like that

Did you mess with any settings or just install the game out of the box and play?

if it is not too much to ask a set of standard benchmarks would do nicely for me together with temps on both machines during the same runs

you mean just 3dmark for the standard benchmarks? and I just ran BF3 with the suggested settings and native resolution. I'll try and get temps tonight for you guys.

hey everyone kind a new her XD, i was wondering if there is any good review of the machine im like super close to order this monster baby but i would love to read a nice and complete test of it like in notebookcheck or somethong close any idea where i can find one ?? google is not helping already tried ^^

Does anyone know how to overclock the GT 650m? I'm using the 295.55 drivers and neither Nvidia Inspector nor MSI Afterburner works.
