Re: M14x order status discussion
I still got my money, I called and asked if they received my payment and they said everything is fine so I guess it might be a bank issue. I left my money in the account and won't be touching it. I expect the bank will notice the mistake and correct it if not then we got free computers lol!

Re: M14x order status discussion
Your bank takes the money out of your account while it's processing in anticipation of it going through. However, Dell doesn't actually charge you until it ships. Within a few days of shipping your money will go away again.

Re: M14x order status discussion
Transactions take two or three days to process. If you look up your account online, you'll see that some of your transactions are pending, but those pending transactions still count against your balance. If your balance didn't update until three days after each purchase, things would get frustrating.
With the Alienware computer, your transaction was pending, but then it didn't go through. The money gets returned to you (even though it had never really left yet), and then Dell charges you when they ship it.

Re: M14x order status discussion
My 14x just arrived - first impressions are that the build quality is very good. I have owned a 11x and a 15x and this is definitely better than the 11x. The hinge does feel solid and should last.
It is a nice size - very similar to the 15" MBP that I have, however this feels pretty heavy and solid.
I'll post some pictures shortly.Laptops :
Samsung NP780Z5E-S01UB ( i7,12GB, 256GB SSD, FHD Touchscreen, W8)
Dell XPS 15 L521x ( i5, 12GB, 500GB SSD & 120GB mSata, FHD, 1GB 630m, W8 Pro)
Lenovo Y500 (i7, 16GB, 256GB SSD, 2x2GB GT650M SLi, FHD, W8)
Dell XPS 18 (i5,8GB, 500GB HD/32GBSSD, 18.5" FHD Touch, W8 Pro)
Ultrabooks :
Samsung S7 Ultra NP740U3E-A (i5, 16GB, 128GB SSD,13.3" FHD Touch, W8)
Dell Latitude E6430u (i5,16GB, 240GB SSD, W8 Pro)
