    Default M11x R1 keeps turning off display before startup screen

    Ok so I clean installed windows and updated the drivers from the dell website except the GEforce one, for some reason (at random times) my laptop screen turns on and off ONLY at the start up screen where you put in your password. I tried reinstalling the video card driver but it didn't fix the problem. I noticed other people were having this problem as well.

    Did you set the bios to run only the 335m card?

    This. Fairly certain the black screen is it switching from integrated GPU to 335M if it's on switchable mode. Don't think it happens if you have one of them hard set as the default.
